Third and Fourth Class

   Minimize
This age group is now beginning to learn to read for meaning in addition to learning the mechanics of reading. With this in mind, it is useful to know what a child’s interests are as it helps in determining a book that appeals to them. Children also love being involved in the book selection process.
If you are choosing a book specifically for reading aloud, remember that it can be pitched at a higher reading level, as children are able to listen and comprehend at higher reading levels. Fortunately, there is always a wider selection of books available for reading aloud.Don't forget to continue to read to your primary age child right up to sixth class.
